Every man must have a body but after death, he becomes a ghost which can appear to the living. God is a Spirit and wants you and I to worship Him in spirit and in truth. The human spirit depends on the Holy Spirit to function. Noah released the dove into the earth to brood over the water of the formless new world, just as the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the water to create.
