As our energy starts to dip and things start to feel difficult in our homeschools, we can begin to play a little game I call The Homeschool Blame Game. 

We start looking around and pointing fingers at whatever and WHOever we can blame for our energy being zapped and the homeschooling being difficult. 

It’s a dangerous game because the blame can accumulate and ultimately lead to bitterness in our hearts, something the Bible warns us against.

And the truth is we are in charge of our homeschools, we’re the boss, we’re setting the rules and the tone and we can change all the things that need to be changed. 

I hope to encourage you to catch yourself if you’re playing this game and go in the other direction; a direction of more personal responsibility and a lot more satisfaction in your homeschooling!
