After a week off due to technical difficulties, Cam and Shanara are back and they are discussing movies with a very specific cinema Trope; Manic Pixie Dream Girl. It is a character in film that is described as: "exists solely in the fevered imaginations of sensitive writers-directors to teach broodingly soulful young men to embrace life and its infinite mysteries and adventures." MPDGs are said to help their men without pursuing their own happiness, and such characters never grow up; thus, their men never grow up.

Bonjour et bienvenue au club des devoirs! Yes, this week we have taken a journey across the channel into France to bring you two absolute classics of French Cinema. The hugely popular Amélie and the gritty, political drama La Haine.

This week we chose movies with outstanding Soundtracks. The Clint Eastwood classic The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and the Coen Brothers musical romp: O Brother, Where Art Thou

We're back! We've had a break over Christmas but now we are back into full swing. We have started this year with a look at one of our favourite directors: Wes Anderson.

We both agreed that Home Alone is the hands-down best Christmas movie of all time so we did that and then picked another two to discuss.

We have strapped on our hiking boots and packed our binoculars for this weeks episode. Adventure Movies!

Cam picked the dinosaur epic, Jurassic Park and Shanara picked the worryingly scary board game based adventure, Jumanji!

We were joined by our good friend Daniel Farley. He chose Ghostbusters and described it as a movie that gives you exactly what you expect. We wracked out brains and decided that another great example of this is the blockbuster B-movie, Machete.

Episode Twenty-Three.

Loved recording this one. These movies are both so uniquely funny, it was a pleasure to talk about them.

Cam picked Napoleon Dynamite and asked Shanara to focus on:
