The Team Down South is coming to Brown Field as Valparaiso and Butler are set for another Battle for the Hoosier Helmet on Saturday afternoon.

The latest episode of The Victory Bell: The Podcast takes a look back at Valparaiso’s 17-3 win over Butler in 2014. That victory snapped a six-game losing streak to the Bulldogs and allowed Valpo to return the Hoosier Helmet to the trophy case.

Joining the pod to discuss the 2014 battle are quarterback Ben Lehman, receiver Tony Taibi, defensive lineman John Giovenco and defensive back J.J. Nunes. All four players made key contributions in the game, with Lehman throwing a pair of touchdowns, including a 24-yard strike to Taibi. Nunes led the defense with 10 tackles while Giovenco had a key fumble recovery.
