(1:30) They discuss YouTube and how it is limiting creators who advocate for meat. (4:00) Vinnie brings up Teresa’s recent book called “Making It Home”. (9:30) They discuss how well it’s doing and what it’s about. Baseball is a great metaphor for life! They also chat about certain sports superstitions. Some people focus on keeping a “streak”; Cal Ripken Jr. is one of the most prominent sportsmen ever to do so. (20:00) Teresa talks about her dad and how she feels he treated his lymphoma through exercise. (28:00) They discuss Teresa’s brother, Bryan Bishop’s glioblastoma, and how Bryan has been progressing. They talk about how important having hope for health is. They discuss how mindset can help with so many things; Vinnie talks about “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. (37:30) They apply the concepts to people who are obese and their challenges. (40:00) They discuss mindset success stories with athlete examples, like Tom Brady and Michael Jordan. (1:17:00) Teresa shares a third story about a notorious person currently serving a 20-year sentence. People in jail can get certain food requests honored, but this particular person was complaining. (1:20:00) She talks about a modified fasting approach but is starting to incorporate salmon into her eating. (1:22:00) Vinnie reminds Teresa that eating high fat can help weight loss.
