The Word of God says that Christ died for us while we were still sinners. In this amazing act of grace, God proved His great love for us. In today’s message, Pastor David teaches us that we cannot earn the Lord’s favor and love through obedience. Christ’s death demonstrated that we already have God’s love. Instead, we obey Jesus in response to what He did for us. In other words, our obedience should come out of abundant love and thanksgiving, not because we are working to earn God’s favor.
