The unknown is terrifying and just the hint of something beyond your field of vision can cause you to unravel.  

Film director Ruth Paxton (A Banquet) joins me to talk about the inspiration she's drawn from the work of Scottish painter Ken Currie's painting Three Oncologists.  

We explore the multilayered, often frightening nature of Currie's work and the impact it's had on Paxton's filmmaking.
