Here are historical cult examples:

Slavery is the cult that my black ancestors fought against. Over four-hundred years of "cultifying" my black ancestors in various forms are what my black ancestors fought against. Their descendants including me rail against these things. It's sad that some black folks are anti-black. 

Slavery was SOME of the white folk's (the racist ones) prostitution of my black ancestors that my black ancestors fought against. Over four-hundred years of pimping my black ancestors in various forms  are also what my black ancestors fought against. It's sad that some black folks play roles in victimizing human beings who are black. Their descendants including me rail against these things. 

I am grateful that there are people of all races, nationalities, and ethnicities that love and fight for black humanity.
