Jason Laplow sits down with the voice of the Great Lakes Loons, Grand Rapids Drive, and Northwood Timberwolves to talk about his career and his life as a broadcaster. Those interested in the behind-the-scenes of broadcasting are sure to be intrigued by this conversation.

Returning from a multi-month hiatus, The Hot Corner welcomes DHS senior Hannah Raw to the show in its first ever episode featuring a female. Jason takes the first few minutes to talk about the future of this show and what he'd like it to be before inviting Hannah into the conversation to speak on what it has been like to be a sports fan throughout her four years in high school. The two tackle much broader subjects, as well, before ending with a Q-and-A courtesy of Instagram. It's the longest episode by far, but it's definitely worth a listen.

In Episode four, DHS freshman basketball and JV golf coach Alex Karapas joins the show to discuss his rise from athlete to coach and his personal coaching strategies.

DHS football player Charlie Hunkins joins the show to chat with Jason about his time on both the JV and varsity football squads for the 2018 season. They also chat as friends and share a few laughs talking about other things.

In Episode 2, former DHS student and current Saudi Arabia resident Liam Callihan joins the show to talk about life in Saudi Arabia and the sports that they have there, as well as American sports.

On the debut episode of The Hot Corner, Alec Chronowski joins the show to talk about both professional and high school sports, from the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Dodgers to the Dow High Chargers and their football teams.
