Listen Later

ABRI - the housing association -  are building over 100 homes in Petersfield and more in other areas like Horndean.

They say the housing crisis means they need to build, using 'brownfield sites' like at the top of Lavant Street, by the railway station.

After a delay, they now have planning permission for Drum Court, on the Spain, to be rebuilt providing 21 flats, with work to start in Spring 2026.

54 homes, mainly houses, are being built on The Causeway, and the 34 units for social rent  - the lowest rate - on Lavant street will be ready by spring 2027.

ABRI's Director of Land and Planning, Sam Stone, speaks to Mike Waddington about their progress and current plans.
