Dr. Kim Manturuk is the Senior Research Associate in Financial Services at the Center for Community Capital, a research institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Presently, her research focuses on the social and financial impacts of home-ownership in urban neighborhoods. Her recent research has appeared in Socio-Economics, Social Service Review, Social Science Research, and the Journal of Urban Affairs. She received her PhD in sociology from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
