Episode 7 is a personal one for me. As a single father that has navigated the legal system over the last 18 months to make sure that I would be a present father. I know how I felt going into this process and have had discussions with many people over that span. There are many misconceptions and myths that people believe due to lack of information. Today I have Kerease Epps who is a close friend, but also served as one of my attorneys come on and discuss navigating family law and what people should know going into the process. 

Being a product of a home where her parents divorced, Kerease found herself advocating for not only children and parents in the courtrooms. She worked at the most presitigious law firm in Illinois before recently transitioning to the role as Assistant Counsel of Chicago Public Schools.
