The Human Recommendation is a biweekly radio show on FlirtFm 101.3 FM in Galway city showcasing the best of indie & alternative music from Ireland and around the globe. But in this special interview side project, host Damien had to opportunity to chat with Runway Lights, a five-piece indie rock band from Dublin.
Louise O’Hanlon provides the vocals, brothers Shane and Oisin O’Neill are on guitars and a rhythm section of Colm Keenan (drums) and Ronan Parker (bass). They released their debut EP “What Defines a Villain” in 2019 to critical acclaim but further plans were delayed by the global lock down in 2020.
They are back with a new single and album on the way. We spoke about Dublin, being a musician, the creative process, releasing music, the music industry and much more.
