This message shares with us how Christ exemplifies Servant-Leadership. On the heels of the disciples new on going argument, "who is the greatest in the kingdom"; Christ shows us via this account how He doesn't call us to success or seats but to service. Christ does not call us to be Jr. Executives in the Kingdom but He does call us to service. In this text Christ paints a picture perfect example of what we as the church are called to do; service.

Christ calls us not to argue over position of power, prestige and potency; but Christ does require that we serve Him through serving one another. Because of His love for us Jesus descended from the heights and bounds of eternity; emptying Himself of some of His glory to take on the form of a servant. His Servant-Leader model in this text is the standard for true Christian Service.
