“He must increase, but I must decrease.” (John 3:30)

Saint John the Baptist shows us true humility, not thinking less of ourselves, but making more room for Christ. When his moment passed and Jesus’ ministry began, John stepped back with peace and joy. He knew his purpose was not to be the light, but to point to the Light. Today, his words invite us to ask: where do we need to step aside so Christ can take center stage in our lives?
