Hunger of the heart can come when life has been difficult. When life is hard, discontentment lurks as the hard things sift our heart, calling for our attention by probing for our gaze.   If we fall for their attempts and look at them and not the greatness of Jesus, we will elevate the situation instead of casting our gaze at Jesus, and remain hungry. The hungry heart calls. How we answer will get us fed or keep us hungry.
