Inspired by The Great Western Trail Argentina, designed by Alexander Pfister, we pulled out all the stops to create an unforgettable evening filled with delectable Argentinian cuisine and the excitement of this game. We kicked off the night with a sip of Fernet Con Coca, a popular Argentinian drink that set the mood for the adventure ahead. The centerpiece of our evening was the Argentinian asado, featuring mouthwatering chorizo and churrasco generously slathered in chimichurri sauce. The sizzling, smoky aromas transported us to the wild pampas of Argentina, where the Gauchos still roam. Every bite was a celebration of the country's rich culture and culinary heritage. For dessert, we savored the simple yet heavenly chocotorta—a delightful confection made by dipping chocolate cookies into coffee and layering them with a decadent cream of dulce de leche and cream cheese. The flavors melded together harmoniously, leaving our taste buds dancing with joy. After indulging in this culinary feast, we gathered around the table, and the board game took center stage. The Great Western Trail Argentina came alive as we navigated the rustic trail, herded cattle, and made strategic moves to outwit our fellow players. The combination of good food and exciting gameplay created an experience that was more than the sum of its parts.
