After Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico, the Governor of Puerto Rico commissioned a study from GWSPH. Through the study, the team hoped to provide an estimate of excess mortality and evaluate the government’s communication efforts to the public before, during, and after the storm. We talk with two members of the team, Dean Lynn Goldman and Professor Carlos Santos-Burgoa.
