In this episode, I challenge you to have agency over your career it requires you to accept that the work structure is created to ensure you rely on your organisations and managers to validate you through promotions and/or bonuses. Having agency over your life and career means you operate and see the world of work as transactional and when a workplace has served in achieving your objectives you move on and build on your career. You do not require permission to do so or operate in guilt via a form of displaced loyalty to an organisation or manager who is committed to keeping you stagnant in a position that only serves them and therefore oppresses your ability to grow and attain success and the financial benefits of that success.
