It's a given: the COVID-19 Coronavirus has us all in a funk! Collectively, we have had to hit the [PAUSE] button on our regular routines and commit to a quarantine period in our home in order to slow the pace of this illness down.
Everyone is affected - directly and indirectly - and no doubt, it has resulted in stress, anxiety, fear, and strong concern for many. But, it has also resulted in positive changes (or at least a start in that direction) for some. Communities have come together through technology to keep things moving; families are drawing closer; creativity is increasing; and rolling with the "normal everyday grind" has now shifted into hopefully a more balanced direction.
The key: learning how to manage stress. Just how much does stress affect our minds and bodies? How can we combat stress? How can being productive help the battle against stress? Just a couple of points that will be covered in this episode.
There are many opportunities amidst the obstacles right now - even if they may be challenging to see them at the moment! Rest assured, we can and will survive the struggle together.
