The I in Us

The I in Us with Robin Link 2 October 2025

Listen Later

On this episode of The I in Us, Paul and Cody welcomed intersex Canadian Robin Link to the JOY airwaves.

Robin (they/them/theirs) is an intersex, bigender fluid, poly and pan middle-being, living with super-senses of synesthesia. Robin learned they are intersex just five years ago, but has known about their differences since the age of four. In 2022, Robin recognised the need for intersex-specific support in their region and so founded Orchids, an intersex-focused division of a Canadian organisation that mainly supports Transgender and gender-diverse persons.

On this episode we hear about Robin’s early years, attempts by others to change who they are and how they appear, and how Robin’s Indigenous heritage and lived experience intertwine to enable Robin to navigate their experience of being intersex, and to become completely comfortable in their own skin, and body.

We also find out what makes Robin Human!!
