Hours spent hunting shadows and minutes spent in Scripture tell on us. The believer is not called to scan the news for a thief; we are called to keep the house ready for the Master and to fear the Lord alone. Because we are sealed by the blood of Christ and the resurrection has already settled the outcome, fear is not just unhelpful, it is irrational. The game is won. We can live free.
