This passage deals with contentment. The message focused on three aspects of contentment/happiness:

the “IF” of contentment (i.e. our predisposition to base our contentment on our circumstances)

the “WHAT” of contentment (i.e. Paul displaying a contentment/happiness he has not based on circumstances)

the “WHO” of contentment (i.e. Paul pointing to Jesus’ life, death and resurrection as the true power for complete contentment/happiness no matter our circumstances
