We’ve been told, almost like an absolute truth, that if you don’t “heal” your relationship with your mother, the flow of abundance will stop like a clogged pipe; or that if you don’t fully forgive your father, love will always feel like a door locked twice. We were taught to see ourselves as unfinished projects, as if living were a constant process of correction where every wound is a flaw that needs to be fixed before we’re finally allowed to receive what we desire.
