The cross proves that Jesus pays full price for damaged goods. God shows that no one and nothing is too damaged to purchase. Whatever evil was done to you, He redeems and writes the ending. And whatever mistakes and failures you have had, His redemption doesn't wait for you to be innocent. God is in the business of redeeming us in all areas.

Treat it as a potential appointment with Him, to encounter His presence, and be built up by Him.

What do we do when God feels silent? Drawing from the raw honesty of Psalm 13, where the writer cries out repeatedly asking how long God will remain hidden, we are reminded that wrestling with God is not a sign of weak faith. It is actually a mark of genuine relationship. One powerful distinctions to note is the difference between lament and complaint. Lament brings our honest pain before God while still anchoring itself in His character. Complaint, on the other hand, assumes the worst about who God is. Learning to lament well is one of the most important spiritual skills we can develop, because it keeps us tethered to hope even when our circumstances feel hopeless.

What lens are we using to see our lives?
