It was a historic week on Capitol Hill. President Trump became the third U.S. president to be impeached joining Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton. Jared and FOX’s Senior Capitol Hill producer Chad Pergram recap this week’s impeachment vote and preview what will happen next in the process.

With the House impeaching the president the partisan divide in Congress continues. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) reacts to this week’s drama, tells us what we can expect when it moves to a Senate trial, and how to heal a divided nation when we move on from impeachment.

Some top Democrats were expecting defections from freshman Democrats in the swing states that President Trump won in 2016. That was not the case. The purple state freshman moderates stayed in line with Democrats and voted to impeach the president. The question now is will that come back to haunt them when they run for re-election in 2020? Jared discusses with Democratic strategist Mary Anne Marsh.
