In this talk Shaykh Abdur-Rahman begins by mentioning the meaning of true companionship. Shaykh goes on to mention that for one to develop their connection with Allah Most High, their acts of devotion must have a spiritual element to them. By continuing with the dhikr, one can ensure his acts of worship do not merely become routine tasks. Shaykh further highlights the importance of attending spiritual gatherings and their benefit in rejuvenating the inner system and strengthening the heart, which is constantlyin a state fo flux. Finally, the Shaykh briefly mentions the different stages of progress in the path in which an aspirant’s connection with Allah Most High develops.
