More award events are starting to appear in gaming and esports in order to recognize the growing base of competitive players and content creators operating in the space. From the generalized Video Game Awards to the Esports Awards, more categories and nominations are showing support to the biggest individuals in the industry. However, in a space saturated by men, more recognition is needed.
