In this episode, Calum and Clinton conclude their discussion of E.L. Mascall’s the Importance of Being Human. They discuss the relationship between nature and supernature, the fall of man, and God’s call for everyone to enter into union with him through baptism, communion, and faith in Jesus Christ. Mascall follows Augustine in arguing that man’s purpose is to see and to know, to know and to love, to love and to praise God, and God can only be known through membership in the Body of Christ.
