The history of Juneteenth is an amazing one, and one we should all celebrate, the day the last slaves in Texas were finally freed, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed when the Union soldiers got to them and freed them. KSL Newsradio's Amanda Dickson wanted to talk about the holiday with her guests this week on A Woman's View. Her guests this week include Sarah Hawkes, a young woman who joined Amanda on a Young Woman's View years ago and comes back on the program now in her 20's, author and speaker Linda Eyre and Francine Giani, former Executive Director of the Utah Department of Commerce.
