The Importance of Niching Down with Laura Park Figueroa

Laura Park Figueroa is a nature-loving occupational therapist entrepreneur. She’s the founder of Outdoor Kids OT, a nature-based pediatric OT practice. She created the ConTiGO (Connection & Transformation in the Great Outdoors) Approach- an evidence-based therapy model for pediatric therapists of all disciplines to take their work with children outdoors into nature. Laura is the ever-honest host of the Mind Your OT Business Podcast, where she bares her business soul to empower OT practitioners (and others!) to be savvy and successful entrepreneurs. She is currently a PhD candidate at Texas Woman’s University, with a research specialization in nature-based pediatric occupational therapy. Married for 21 years with 3 children (ages 19, 17, and 11), she happily lives in Madison, Wisconsin with a trail into 124 acres of woods right at the end of her driveway.
