Our inaugural sermon series, Marked By Charcoal, examines what the Apostle Peter's life like after he encountered Jesus at the charcoal fireside. At the first fireside scene, Peter denied knowing Jesus three times. At the second fireside scene, Jesus restores their relationship. In this series, we explore four scenes from Peter's life in the book of Acts, and we see what life looks like after grace. In this sermon, Pastor Alastair Sterne takes us through Acts 12 and explores how Peter's life was marked by the the impossible becoming possible because God is the type of God who rescues. We see that God may or may not rescue us here-and-now, but that God ultimately rescues us from death and gives us unending life in his unending love.
