Clarissa's story is an amazing example of just how strong we as women and mothers are. She shares how finding out she was unexpectedly pregnant gave her the courage to leave an abusive relationship. She talks about her amazing support system during her pregnancy and her difficult labor and delivery as well as her bout with post partum depression.

When her son Augie was just a year old, Clarissa decided not to settle and left a job she was ambivalent about to pursue a career as an esthetician and put herself through school while raising a toddler as a single mom. 

Clarissa and I also dove into what it's REALLY like dating as a single mom and her stories had me laughing out loud. Clarissa is frank, true to herself, and an amazing mama.
