Dr. King was born January 15, 1929. April 4, 1968 . . . at the tender age of 39 in Memphis, Tennessee at the Lorraine Hotel while supporting equality, and social justice for sanitation workers . . . Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated.
