After a brief hiatus I am back with an all new episode of the 7th Generation Podcast. Episode 33. In this new show I talk about my trip to the Indigenous Red Market in Oakland, CA. It was a beautiful day up in the bay. I was able to catch up with Indigenous Chef Crystal Wahpepah, founder and creator of Wahpepahs Kitchen and I talk about Frank Waln and John Paul Hodge who both performed at the the Indigenous Red Market. Check out my instagram for pictures and videos @7thgenpodcast.
In the last segment of the show I discuss some of the recent developments in Canada with the discovery of 215 unmarked graves at the Kamloops Indian residential boarding school. I also talk about the history of the boarding school system here in the US. It's a dark history folks, but it needs to be discussed.
I am just trying to find my groove again. It's been a while since my last podcast, I'm definitely a little rusty so please bare with me.
Feel free to give me feedback, and if there is ever something you want me to discuss on the show just reach and let me know. Peace!
