Hi everyone, my name is Veeyah and you're listening to The Indy Miss podcast, a show about relationships and self-improvement.
Today's episode is all about post traumatic growth, or moving forward when bad things happen. The world was shocked once news of the death of Kobe and Gianna Bryant became public. Everyone instantly grieved and even non-basketball fans expressed their respect and condolonces to the families of those lost in the terrible crash. That day was a day of mourning, and until now, people don't know how to move on from the tragedy.
Given the events that have happened this week alone, I thought it would be good to talk about moving on from trauma and rebuilding the sense of loss we've all experienced as a community. While this episode won't ever be the solution to grief, I'd like to help frame your concept of growth after a traumatic experience.
If you think this episode is not for you, there are plenty more relationship-centered, and self-improvement-centered episodes you can listen to that may be to your liking. If you're in this with me, get comfortable, pour some tea, and we'll get started.
