Earlier this week you may have noticed that the inflation rate came in at 2.6% on an annual basis. And it was easy to conclude that inflation is beginning to heat up, just like Wall Street and the Administration have been telling us.

But not so fast, like many things in this new economy. Things are not what they always appear.
