Jules and I connected through instagram thanks to the hashtag #divorce. What started as a few DM exchanges turned into her coming to Maui to become the Visual Content Creator for Divorce For Love and the co-founder of Body, Mind and Biz. It was through our travels in Hawaii and Bali that our professional relationship turned into a profound friendship. 

I wanted Jules to share the stories she told me about a past I could have never imagined. From being raised in a very strict religious setting to marrying at a very young age the only guy she had ever been with since she ws 15 to finding out about her husband’s affair and using this moment as a catalyst to change her life for the better. In this episode she also takes us back to the difficulties of growing up with little contact with her biological father, having to go to court to expose her sexual abuser as a young kid and the struggles of breaking away from the patterns being passed down from her immigrant parents trying to do the best they could.
