Accident & Emergency departments across the country are seeing an excess of 6000 patients a year. With limited bed capacity, staffing levels and the challenges faced by GPs much of the burden falls on A&E departments nationally. This is a straight talking discussion with Mo who shares his experiences working in Emergency Medicine. We discuss how A&E works and how it is adapting to the wider NHS climate. Mo also explains the ABCDE system of assessing patients which he uses daily.
