If the Dunya was something that had value to it, Allah 
سُبْحَانَهُۥ وَتَعَالَىٰ would've given Dunya to the anbiyaa' عليه السلام. But, the fact that Allah سُبْحَانَهُۥ وَتَعَالَىٰ didn't give Dunya to the Anbiyaa'  عليه السلام shows that Dunya has no value whatsoever.
