While the Genesee County Sheriff's Office investigated a seemingly stronger suspect following Bruce Miller's murder on November 8, 1999 , cracks began to show between the two lovers turned co-conspirators as Sharee Miller began to pull away and Jerry Cassaday began to question Sharee's many claims and their relationship.
