Entering his sophomore year at Denison University is Cade Nowik, a 2022 graduate of Lake Forest High School.
Nowik has the distinction of playing all 12 seasons of athletics during his four years as a Scout. He was a starting wide receiver on the 2021 Scouts football team that made the Class 6A semifinals.
Before he left for school, Scouts Football Newsletter publisher Jon J. Kerr had a conversation with Nowik.
Topics discussed:
* Juggling two sports at the college level, football and baseball
* How he manages body and mind to be able to compete in two collegiate sports
* His relationships with coaches in college and differences from high school
* Bounding back from a severe knee injury that cut short his 2021 football season
* Lessons learned from getting hurt and motivating forces throughout recovery
Hope you enjoy this conversation with Cade. I know I did.
More to come with the newsletter as we begin the march towards the 2023 season.
