Martin Shirley has served as Chauffeur to the Lieutenant-Governor for nine and a half years, driving the Governor, his family and royal guests around the island.

After his retirement last week, Martin sat down with Express to talk about driving the limousine, how he feels about having sold the J4 numberplate, and the one time he arrived late to a function.
