Australia's Cut Copy are one of those bands that straddles the indie rock and DJ worlds. Remixes of Cut Copy songs are sometimes as popular if not more than the originals--especially when they get names like Mylo, Moulinex, Holy Ghost, Boys Noize and others to remix their tracks.
