Back in the day, I **loved** Eyedea & Abilities. These two were the best of early 2000s backpack hip hop. But sadly like most indie groups you love, they went their separate ways.

I was stoked when I heard that Eyedea & Abilities had reunited. This time, they have returned with a new style that incorporates more punk and metal into their beats. I loved it, they are still making challenging indie hip hop. But those old skewl hip hop fans can be harsh. Listen to my chat with Eyedea. He reveals just how to deal with death threats from “fans.”
