In 2013, Benjamin Laub aka Grieves has had a year that would drive most men to despair. He admitted to me that at one point he seriously considered giving up rapping for good–but not for long. The Rhymesayers Entertainment rapper picked up the pieces and soldiered on.
Over a few beers in the tour van, I talked to Grieves about his horrible year, creating gangster beats, and making tracks about “not being able to get a boner“ among other things.
I know what you’re thinking. What could cause a rapper to consider giving it all up? Why don’t we hear more songs about not being able to get a boner? You’ll have to listen to the interview to get these questions answered.
