Most people remember Swedish folk rock singer José González for the amazing covers he did in the mid-2000s. (Remember his incredible cover of “Heartbeats” by The Knife?) Lately José has been making music and touring with two of his high school friends under the name Junip.

When I first met José in his tour van, I was a bit nervous. His answers were very succinct. Would I be able to get this Swede to open up? Of course! I even get José to talk about his days in the Swedish Metal scene. Listen to our chat.
