Viet Cong have rocketed out of to nowhere (truth be told: Calgary) to become one of 2015’s most talked about bands. The band’s self-titled debut has been quickly gathering rave reviews and intensely dedicated fans. A few months ago, I got a sneak preview of the record, huddling in the tour van with Matt Flegel and “Monty” Munro.
