Jersey Overseas Aid has so far donated £262,000 to Friends of Ukraine-EOD to deliver bomb and mine disposal training.
This week Express speaks to Ben Remfrey and Uliana Yurenko - Ben is a founder of Friends of Ukraine-EOD, and Uliana is the head technical translator and interpreter at Mat Kosovo, a training centre in Kosovo.
They spoke about how that funding has helped train up the first women in Ukraine to be allowed to be involved in bomb disposal.
