When most people think of a successful entrepreneur, typically they think of a charismatic, outgoing, and brilliant leader; Jobs, Bezos or the flamboyant Richard Branson might come to mind. Rarely is introversion conflated with entrepreneurial success. This is because society has a cultural bias towards extroverts, according to Susan Cain, and also because an entrepreneur must interact and influence numerous people — their team, their customers, their partners, and the media.
